Domestic and Deep Cleaning Services:
We can only give an estimate of the duration of the cleaning service based on the brief description of the customer’s house.
Please note the duration may vary and flexibility is required.
The first clean may also take a little longer than future cleans.
General domestic cleaning and deep cleaning services are not the same. Please read the service provided on the website:

The customer agrees to provide adequate cleaning products and equipment that is in good working order.
The customer understands that the price of the cleaning fee quoted over the phone or email does not include anything apart from cleaning and the duties described on our website.
The customer agrees to provide the cleaner with clear instructions or a task list for cleaning requirements.
A minimum of 2 hours per cleaning visit applies for all domestic cleaning services.
Payments:
Payments are to be made on completion of the clean on the day and no later.
The cleaning fee includes:
The cleaner’s fee
The agency fee
The agency fee covers full vetting, background checks, checking of references, and insurance coverage for the cleaner working at your property.
Cancellations:
Customers are required to give 24 hours’ notice for cancelling cleaning services to avoid being charged the full amount.
One-Off Cleaning Services:
Poppins Cleaning Company reserves the right to amend the initial quotation should the client’s original requirements change.
If the cleaner, on arrival, discovers the clean requires more time or a different service (i.e. a deep clean instead of a general clean), this will be discussed and agreed before the work begins.
End of Tenancy Cleaning Services:
Poppins Cleaning reserves the right to amend the initial quotation should the client’s original requirements change.
No minimum or maximum time will be estimated.
The property will be cleaned within one day.
All tasks are listed on the website.
Products will be provided for this service.
Access to the property must be provided 15 minutes before the clean begins to allow the cleaner to prepare.
All fragile and highly breakable items must be secured or removed.
Complaints:
The customer accepts and understands that poor service, breakage, or damage must be reported within 24 hours.
Poppins Cleaning will not accept a complaint based on an inventory check filed more than 24 hours after the cleaning session.
Insurance:
Poppins Cleaning has public and employers’ liability insurance.
All introduced cleaners of Poppins Cleaning who are employed by the customer will be covered primarily with the customer’s own insurance policy and, as a contingency only, within the Poppins Cleaning public liability policy, which has a limit of £1,000,000 of public liability.
Damage caused by negligence of a cleaner introduced by Poppins Cleaning is covered provided the damage exceeds £250.
Poppins Cleaning does not accept liability for the first £250 of any claim.
The policy covers damage that the cleaner may cause when carrying out cleaning duties.
Poppins Cleaning accepts no liability for insurance unless the fee has been paid in advance.
The policy does not cover possession or property theft.
Customer and Agency Agreement:
The customer agrees and understands that the cleaner works under Poppins Cleaning Company and will not work independently for the customer when they have been introduced by Poppins Cleaning.
Recommendation of the cleaner to others will be done using Poppins Cleaning.
Following the termination of using Poppins cleaners, the customer will not employ any current or past cleaner provided by Poppins for a period of 18 months.
